Change of Club Secretary



Step One  – Send an email to clubdevelopment@wru.wales with the following details of your new Club Secretary:


  • Full name:

  • Date of birth:

  • Email address:

  • MyWRU ID:


Important: The current Club Chairperson must be cc’d (copied) into this email for validation.



Step Two – Wait for Confirmation

Wait for a confirmation email back from the Club Development team.

This email will confirm that the change has been received and recorded.


👉 Do not continue until you receive this confirmation.




Step Three – Register on MyWRU

Once you’ve received the confirmation email, the new Club Secretary should:


  1. Go to MyWRU

  2. Register themselves to the role of Club Secretary

  3. The Club Development Team will then approve the new secretary to the role.

  4. The new Secretary following approval will have 'Manage Organisation' appear on their MyWRU profile.




That’s it! 

All parts of the MyWRU system will now be updated with your new Club Secretary details.
